Focus and scope

The Journal Investigación en Recursos Amazónicos (IRCAM) is edited by the Instituto Tecnológico del Putumayo and publishes research articles, review articles, brief communications and case studies related to the application of the areas of natural sciences, technologies, humanities, economic and administrative sciences and other thematic nuclei that contribute to the use and management of Amazonian resources.

The dissemination format of the IRCAM journal is electronic. The periodicity is biannual and the editions are published in June and December. Authors interested in publishing should submit their manuscripts through the OJS portal. Revista Investigação em Recursos Amazônicos does not charge for article processing.

IRCAM is an open access publication with immediate access to its content under the principle of promoting free access, without financial, legal or technical barriers that contribute to a greater exchange of global knowledge. 

This journal does not charge for the processing, reception and evaluation of articles; nor for those approved for publication. It does not charge APC and the contents are available in full text and without restrictions.
