Focus and Scope

The Revista Investigación en Recursos Amazónicos (IRCAM) is published by the Institución Universitaria del Putumayo and publishes research articles, review articles, short communications, and case studies related to the application of natural sciences, technology, humanities, economic and administrative sciences, and other thematic fields that contribute to the utilization and management of Amazonian resources.

The publication format of the IRCAM journal is electronic. It is published biannually, with issues released in June and December. Authors interested in publishing must submit their manuscripts through the OJS portal. The Revista Investigación en Recursos Amazónicos charges no article processing fees.

Open Access Policy

The IRCAM journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public—without financial, legal, or technical barriers—supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

This journal does not charge for the processing, receipt, or evaluation of articles, nor for those accepted for publication. It charges no APCs (Article Processing Charges), and all content is available in full text without restrictions.
