Abstract

As rector of the Technological Institute of Putumayo, I am honored to present the first article of the Journal Research in Amazonian Resources IRCAM, an academic bet that reflects the institutional commitment to the production of relevant, rigorous and situated knowledge, from one of the most biodiverse, complex and strategic territories of the planet: the Amazon region.
