Abstract

Objective: to determine the diversity of mushrooms present in the territory of the Inga La Cristalina indigenous reservation, Puerto Limón - Putumayo. Scope: to strengthen ancestral knowledge based on the knowledge acquired during this research on fungi. Methodology: the study area has 600 m2, for the collection of the different samples of fungi a transect of 0.5 ha was made, which was divided into five plots of 50 x 4 m, each one was located randomly, which were later identified in the laboratory facilities of the Technological Institute of Putumayo. Results and conclusions: a total of 24 different species were collected and identified, according to the Margalef Index, the Inga la Cristalina Indigenous Reserve has an average diversity of 4.2 and in relation to the use of their properties it was found that most of the species were not edible with a percentage of 20.8 %. More studies are needed to propose conservation measures and limited use of the species found, as well as to understand the diversity and potential use of fungi in forest environments, in order to promote social construction and to form citizens with scientific knowledge.
